All helmet decals are designed in different sizes, because each logo fits the helmet differently. The standard size for football helmet decals is 4.5” tall. The standard for batting helmet decals is 2.3” tall. We can make them any size you prefer, just let us know if you have a specific size in mind, no problem.

Your custom artwork is always welcome at Award Decals. You upload your design to us during the order process on most online products. Look under the Design/Artwork question. In that product question will find an upload form. Or if you are not placing an order yet, you can send us an email with the attached artwork to: order@AwardDecals.com. Be sure to include: your sport, helmet color, decal colors (based on our color chart), your quantity, and any specifications you might have. Be sure to send us your highest quality artwork possible. Vector AI or EPS artwork files are ideal. We’ll email you back within 1 week with proofs, pricing, and/or answers to any questions you may have.

Our talented artwork staff can work with most anything, however we prefer Adobe Illustrator vector .EPS, AI, or vector .PDF files. We can work with a .jpeg, file and prefer that it’s at least 3” x 3” with a minimum of 300 DPI. As a general rule, if your file is less than 1MB in size, it will likely be too small depending on the complexity of the design. We do have our own color chart of bold bright colors that we have developed and use as a standard for our printed colors. You can see the colors online under each product. We also have the option to match colors if need be (see question below).

We print our decals using full color printers and/or spot color printers. This means, if you have a specific color you want printed, we can get very close. The key aspect to matching colors is to be sure you can get us a perfect representation of your color to match. There are two ways to match a color to exacting specs. 1. Provide us a Pantone color code, found within a Pantone color swatch book, or perhaps from the artwork resource for your team. 2. A physical sample of a product your team uses can be mailed to us. This means, a sock, jersey, old decal, anything that we can hold up to a color chart. Digital artwork files cannot represent a printed color match, and we cannot guarantee a match based on digital colors on a monitor. Please remember colors look different on different monitors, so you can’t always go by what you see on your screen.

It is very very rare for us to ever charge for artwork. This is only the case when artwork requires an extreme amount of work or if you have a business that has no logo that is in need of one. If this is ever the situation, we would be sure to let you know in advance if artwork charges would occur. We pride ourselves on being able to offer free artwork to our customers and our experienced and creative artwork team can handle most anything with ease.

We are not officially licensed by these organizations. So unfortunately we will not print licensed logos or designs without written permission from the organization itself. We can however work with you to get a new look and feel. Please be aware that the logo design in question will need to be changed drastically to avoid complications.

For paid orders, your proofs are automatically pushed to the front of the line and will be emailed for your approval in 1-2 business days. Any artwork requests that are sent prior to ordering will be converted to proofs on a first come first serve basis. If there is any problem or questions we will let you know asap. We strive to get great looking proofs back as quickly as we possibly can. If you still have not received the proofs back after a few days be sure to check your spam folder and/or get back in touch with us.

Either way is great, but ordering online is fastest. We always send proofs for custom designs you’re your approval before we print. However, we understand that sometimes you (the customer) needs to get league approval for designs before an order is placed, so we are standing by to help you get everyone on board with your ideas.
